Hotel review: Anantara Siam, Bangkok (Siam Suite) Bangkok, May 2018 Introduction After a beach holiday in Hua Hin I had booked a room for one night at Anantara Siam in Bangkok. I wanted to try a new hotel and this would be our second Anantara experience on this trip after checking out their sister property Anantara Riverside Resort about a week earlier. This time I booked a Kasara Club Room directly from the hotel's website. The price was pretty much the same everywhere, but booking directly got us an afternoon tea set for two at the lobby for free, and that sounded like a fun thing to try. Other points  to consider with the sale:

Qatar Airways claims it's a "two for price of one", but actually the starting price for one here is a bit higher that can usually be found on their website, so I would approach some of the deals with caution.

Book by 7 November for travel from 15 November 2016 to 15 June 2017.

With the sale you also earn 2x Qmiles, the Qatar Airways frequent flyer program (FFP).
Other options are to credit the miles to some other oneWorld airline's FFP, such as British Airways Executive Club or Finnair Plus - both of which credit 125% redeemable miles of the miles flown.
You can easily check the numbers from wheretocredit.com to see which option you would prefer.
If you have elite status with American Airlines, it might make sense to credit there for redeemable miles.
On the other hand, British Airways Silver status (oneWorld Sapphire) can be achieved from zero with one of these Qatar roundtrips plus 4 BA flights.

Hotelliarvostelu: Hilton Tallinn Park Intro Toinen käyntimme Tallinnan Hiltoniin ajoittui maaliskuun lopulle. Olin varannut huoneen kahdeksi yöksi kolmelle hengelle (King Deluxe with view) Hiltonin sovelluksen kautta paria kuukautta aiemmin kun Hiltonilla oli n. 20% ale käynnissä, ja Hilton Gold -status oli vielä maaliskuun loppuun voimassa. Saavuimme täpötäydellä Vikingillä satamaan n. klo 13 perjantaina ja suuntasimme ensi töiksemme vanhankaupungin laidalle Wok to Walk -ravintolaan lounaalle. Sieltä jatkoimme taksilla Hiltoniin, jossa olimme perillä n. klo 14. Executive-huone Sisäänkirjautumisen​ yhteydessä saimme huoneluokan korotuksen Executive-huoneeseen. Huone sijaitsi hotellin ylimmässä, 11. kerroksessa. Olin pyytänyt etukäteen lapselle lisävuodetta, joka on tässä hotellissa ilmainen. Review: Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel Introduction This is my personal review of Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. A little autumn break was due so we decided to take a little family vacation in Tallinn, Estonia and try the new Hilton Tallinn Park, of which we had heard praise from my colleagues. I booked a four night stay in a King Deluxe Room with a view for three persons.  We took a boat trip in a completely packed Tallink Silja SuperStar on a beautiful, sunny Wednesday morning and arrived on time in Tallinn. The disembarkation took quite a while and it was a longish walk before entering the terminal. Outside were taxis and we took one to take us into the hotel.
